sometimes my boyfriend leaves me out?
my boyfriend is slightly older than me and he likes to party a lot. needless to say at first it wasn't a big deal, but lately it's been an issue. he only makes plans with me at the last minute if he doesn't get a better offer to go hang out a bar with his friends. i don't have a problem with him having fun, but i think it's really rude to exclude me from hanging out with him just because i can't drink yet. i don't expect him to invite me everywhere, but he won't invite me tailgate with him and his friends and he screwed up our birthday plans that we made together to go out drinking. should i say something to him about it? i think it's lousy that he would prioritize drinking over his girlfriend, but that's just me.
i just wanted to add, by no means am i a clingy or mean girlfriend. i've never said anything to him about it yet, but it just hurts that he would rather go to a bar then be with me sometimes.
I'm 20, he's 23
You should talk to him about it. And if he still can't see what he's doing, you should think about breaking up because he can't think for the both of you.
